Abstract

Monoclonal gammopathies are associated with homogeneous immunoglobulin peak on serum or urine electrophoresis and multiple myeloma Is the most frequent disease in
this group. Since non-Hodgkin's lymphomas are neoplasm of the immune system, they may be expected to be associated with alteration of serum immunoglobulin levels.
Monoclonal immunoglobulins occasionally are detected in the serum or urine of patients with malignant lymphoma. We experienced a case of 72-year -old woman complained
vaginal bleeding and voiding difficulties, revealed diffuse poorly differentiated lymphoma by CT guided needle biopsy of pelvic mass. The serum and urine electrophoresis
demonstrated monoclonal spike in the globulin region. Immune electrophoresis of the patient's serum and urine performed by routine methods on agarose gel at pH 8.6
demonstrated limited motility In the IgM and lambda light chain.
