Serial chest X-rays on day 54 showed progressive haziness in both lungs despite 2 weeks of ganciclovir treatment (A). Chest CT (B) on the same day (day 54) showed increased multifocal patchy consolidations and ground-glass opacities in both lung fields compared with previous chest CT images.
